Blending Family and Blending Traditions is The Way to Go

I'm going to continue on the theme of holiday time simply because this is the time of the year where things can be a little more stressful for us.

Whether you're a newlywed and you're just going to be participating in a new family tradition. Perhaps you recently got married and you will be attending holiday time with your new significant other or they will be coming with you to your family. Or, if you're someone who has been attending family traditions for years and they're very stressful and you're not at all looking forward to it.

The Imperfection of the Holidays (You're Not Alone)

In a prior message, we addressed how the picture-perfectness of holiday time is really not realistic. I want to continue on that path a little bit today with regard to family dynamics and things that perhaps create a picture that are imperfect, and it seems to just be exacerbated during holiday time,

When a marriage breaks through divorce, or you have a significant death or a loss, or just simply not really enjoying this time of the year, it can be difficult to pretend that things are okay when they're really not okay. Myself included.
